Sick

Sorry for not posting in a while. I have been sick since last week and finally went yesterday to get checked out. I ended up having strep throat, bronchitis and a sinus infection! I know, I know, I am an over achiever!!! I have been on antibiotics and an inhaler for 24 hours now and am feeling 100% better. Back to work tomorrow. I will post more about what we have been up to later, but for now it is off to bed! I hope everyone is having a great week and has a great holiday weekend. I know we are definitely looking forward to seeing our family!

Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day!!! We are sad that we don't get to spend Father's day with our dads and grandpas today due to a busy schedule on both ends so we thought we would give them a shout out on here! Here is a cute poem I found online:

Grandma,
Thank you so much for teaching all of us every trick you know and always giving the best advice! I still can't make a grilled cheese like yours or a pancake the size of my plate like you do, but I am sure one of these days I will get it down! Meet Terrance

We have a new pet toad that we have named Terrance. He seriously visits us at least every other night and he comes to the same exact spot. He hangs out right between the sliding door and the screen door and watches us through the door until we go to bed. He has been coming for a few weeks now. I first noticed him Memorial Day weekend, but Mark said he has been coming for a while before that. Now every night I check to see if the little fella is here and sure enough he never fails. Beans and Grace usually let us know when he has arrived because they both sit by the door and just watch him! Surprisingly Beans is nice to his new brother!

Beans goes to the groomer....

Beans has been shedding like crazy and we have been really annoyed because there is fur all over our house. We finally decided to take him to a groomer and see what they could do for him. Today he went to Pet Agree Salon in town and got all fixed up. He got a bath, deshedding treatment, his nails cut and then they used a brush called the furminator on him. When we got there he wasn't quite finished yet so we got to watch....the floor was seriously covered in fur! They said he was a good boy and did a great job! Here are his before and after pictures....notice the smile!?!?
I think it is safe to say he lost a little bit of weight today! :) He is so happy!
