4 weeks

*** I apologize..this post is a day late. I started it yesterday and had intentions on getting it finished, but didn't take her 4 week picture until bedtime last night. Enjoy! :)

Camryn is 4 weeks old today! That seems impossible. Friday will be her one month birthday! Wow! She seems to be growing like a weed to me, but not according to her clothes! I keep trying to put her in her 0-3 month clothes because she has so many cute outfits in that size and they are all still huge! We are working our way into the pajamas. They are pretty spacious, but she has wore a couple of her pjs in that size. She attended her first wedding shower on Saturday up in Logansport and was such a good little lady! She wore her first dress and looked adorable! :) She is doing pretty well with sleeping at night now and has only been getting up once a night for the past week or so....with the exception of last night (she got up twice). She passed!!!

Camryn passed her hearing test today for both ears! She pulled an all-nighter last night...she must have been studying pretty hard! :) My mom came down to go to the doctor with Camryn and I and it was sooo nice to have time just the three of us. After the doctor we did some shopping at Clay Terrace and had lunch. It was such a fun day, even with my sleep deprivation. Camryn has to have 2 follow up appointments within the next few months just to make sure she continues to pass, but the doctor today said he had no reason to believe that she would have any issues! That is all from here! We are off to bed! :) Goodnight!

3 weeks

I cannot believe it has been 3 weeks since Camryn was born. It has flown by and at the same time I don't remember what life was like before her! Mark went back to work yesterday and Camryn and I survived. I must admit it was a bit difficult not having the help that I am used to, but I quickly figured things out. We take him lunch everyday, so she gets to have a lunch date with Daddy. We all love it. She is doing really well and sleeping for 3-4 hours at a time at night. We made our first trip up to Logansport last week for a long weekend before Mark had to go back to work. It was so nice to be with our family from Wednesday til Sunday. We got to visit the Great-Grandparents and had several visitors too! It was great to have the extra help, which meant some extra rest for Mark and I. Mark's baseball team has their first game tomorrow, so weather pending Camryn may get to go see her Daddy coach the Bulldogs. She also has her E.N.T. appointment tomorrow. Please send prayers our way that we get a good report. Here are some recent pictures! Enjoy :)

2 weeks old!

Camryn is 2 weeks old today and had her second pediatrician appointment. She now weighs 7lbs. 13oz. She is still 21in. long. She is in the 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. Dr. L said she is doing great and is just perfect, but we already knew that! :) She is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time and is definitely recognizing her mommy, daddy and brother Beans! She is also sleeping a lot better at night and is only getting up once or twice. We seriously could not ask for a better baby! Camryn has her E.N.T. appointment next Wednesday morning, so please pray that everything looks good with the hearing in her right ear. For those of you who don't know, Camryn failed her first hearing screening at the hospital and then passed on the left ear at 24 hours of age, but not on the right. We were referred to a specialist for further testing, but they said this is pretty common in newborns and she may have had fluid left in her ears.

One week

Yesterday Camryn celebrated her one week birthday!!! I cannot believe she has already been with us for a week. She is such a good baby and on a pretty straight 3 hour schedule of eating and sleeping!Camryn had her first pediatrician visit on Monday and she is doing great. She is back up to her birth weight and they said we are doing everything right! Yesterday she had her newborn photo session and let me just say...I don't know how I will ever choose the pictures! We have a photo viewing appointment set for next week. I have also noticed that Camryn is really starting to recognize Mark and I....and even Beans for that matter! It is so cute and we both love it!!! :) As for me...I am feeling G-R-E-A-T!!! I am losing lots of weight and have my ankles back...who could ask for more!? :) Here are some pictures of Camryn from last night!!! Enjoy :)

2 years....

2 years ago today I married my best friend! I couldn't have asked for a better husband and now father to my baby girl! Thanks for being you, Mark! You are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!

We couldn't be more in love with Camryn. She is such an amazing baby! She is such a good sleeper and we honestly could not have asked for a better baby. She seems to be very content at home with us. Right now she is pretty much just eating and sleeping all day. Her most awake time seems to be in the middle of the night, but we don't mind that! :) We are just enjoying every second and taking in everything she does in! She goes to the pediatrician tomorrow for her first appointment! I can't wait to see how much she has grown. When we were discharged from the hospital she was weighing in at 6lbs 11oz.
