I have NO idea if anyone even reads this anymore, but I am going to TRY to get on here a little more regularly. I found the post that I posted before this one in my drafts and that is the one I did to announce Carson's arrival, but never got it up! Whoops!
Life is great!!! Camryn is 2 1/2 years old and Carson is 7 months old. They are both fantastic kids and we are so, so blessed. Camryn loves to sing, laugh, do puzzles and play with play-doh. Carson's hobbies include playing with toys, sticking everything in his mouth, laughing and eating. The boy LOVES to eat. He started baby food at 6 months and started with sweet potatoes. So far, he has not met a food that he didn't like. Initially, he was unsure of carrots and bananas, but everything is a hit now. Sometimes he will even cry when it is gone! :) He currently has 2 bottom teeth, but it looks like the uppers are on their way VERY soon. Camryn and Carson are best buds! They both love each other so much and laugh so much together. Camryn loves holding Carson now and giving him his bottle. She is such a wonderful big sister! :)
Sorry for such a short update! Maybe I will get on here tomorrow (a little earlier than 11:30pm) to change some things and get some things updated! Until then...or whenever I get back on here! Enjoy your week, month, or who knows....it could be a year until I am on again, but I am going to try. I am sad that I did not get on and document my pregnancy with Carson. I took weekly pictures, but due to our computer being a dinosaur, I did not get on and post anything because it would probably explode. That is all for now. I will be writing again....SOON! :)

Carson Alan Lowry
So, I realize that I have been a MAJOR blog slacker! My last post was to announce the gender of our baby and that was in September!!! Carson Alan was born Thursday January 31, 2013 at 1:07p.m. weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long! He is absolutely precious and fits right in with our family! He is now just over 6 weeks old and doing great. He is a total momma's boy and I must admit, I LOVE it! :) He isn't the greatest sleeper, but I really shouldn't complain. Camryn was just an awesome sleeper and I would say he is probably better than most babies when it comes to sleep. Some nights he does fantastic and other nights he thinks it is daytime. Here is Carson's delivery story:
I had a scheduled induction the morning of the 31st due to our drive to the hospital and the chance that the weather could be bad. Mark, Emily and I left for the hospital at 3:12a.m. to get down there in time because the weather reports called for snow and freezing rain. We had to be at the hospital by 5:30a.m. Needless to say we got there in PLENTY of time! :) I just didn't want to chance not getting there! They started the induction at 6:00a.m. with pitocin and then broke my water later that morning. Things are a little blurry for me after my water was broken. My doctor told me I would probably be begging for an epidural shortly...I kept holding off and holding off...(note to self..DO NOT HOLD OFF if I have any children in the future)!!! I decided to get the epidural around 11:00 and was only 4cm, I got temporary relief from the epidural and decided to take a nap since I didn't sleep the night before. My nap was short lived due to a lot of pain. They called the resident in and she checked me...still 4. I was bummed. The pain didn't reside and I was getting VERY uncomfortable. I called the nurse and she called for a booster for my epidural. After the anesthesiologist left, they checked me again...it was time! I had gone from 4-10 in a half hour. I couldn't believe it! They told me the epidural wasn't going to work...the thought in my head was OH NO...I am going to have to feel this! The nurses reassured me that I would be so relieved when this was all over! They were right. Dr. C arrived and Carson was ready to make his debut. He decided to scare us though and his heart rate dropped. Dr. C had to use the vacuum and the NICU had to be called. Carson arrived and was okay, but not breathing as he should have been. He sounded like he was talking to us, but the nurses said that was not a good sign and that he may have fluid in his lungs. A doctor from the NICU checked him out and said he was okay and we were taken up to our room. However, later that evening he was still struggling. They took him down to the nursery and ran a tube down his nose to suction him out. After that, he seemed to be doing much better! Woohoo! :) We got to come home from the hospital on Saturday afternoon and could not wait to introduce Camryn to her little brother. (we were not able to bring Camryn to the hospital due to flu restrictions). Below is a picture of Carson at the hospital. He is such an amazing blessing to our family!

3 vs. 3
We found out on September 6th that our house is going to be balanced out! A husband, a wife, a daughter, a son, a dog (male) and a cat (female). 3 vs.3....
We are soooooo very excited to be having a little boy! His closet is quickly filling up and he is very loved! :) He is a big boy (as of now)....measuring a week ahead of what he should and we were told that he has broad shoulders! The most important thing was that he was healthy. At the ultrasound, they checked all of his vital organs, umbilical cord, placenta...the works! He passed inspection! :)
In other recent news....Camryn turned 18 months old this past Saturday and is just a peach! :) She has begun bossing herself around...for instance, if she is standing on the couch, she tells herself to "sit down!", she burps and says, "excuse you!" It cracks us up! She is an animal lover and loves to read!!!! Tonight, we went to the park and she LOVED playing, however, the walk home was spent with tears and her saying, "all done." Camryn is also a VERY picky eater. Her favorites right now are chicken, french fries (dipped in ketchup, of course!), apples, yogurt, blueberries, waffles, pancakes, french toast and bananas!!! I cannot wait to have her and her little brother in my lap together! :)
As for pregnancy news...things are going smoothly. I am 20 weeks along right now....HALFWAY done, which I cannot believe. I am actually probably a little over halfway done because I will likely be induced again. I am feeling pretty good for the most part. Tired, but that comes with it. I have also been having some strange heart beats lately and Dr. C said that if I have one more episode I will have to go on a 24 hr heart monitor, so please send prayers for no more odd heart beats! Right now I have gone 2 days without an episode! :) I do feeling our little man kicking every once in a while, but they are still pretty random right now!
I'm off to bed...TGIF tomorrow and whenever we get rid of our dino computer, I will start uploading pics and change the blog background from spring! :) There are soooo many other things on our "to-do" list at this point that I am not sure when that will be!
Have a fantastic weekend! Much love and thanks for sticking with us!

We DO Exist!!!!
Yes indeed, we do still exist! I have been getting so many complaints about my lack of posts, so I forced myself to get on here tonight! I do have some pretty good excuses though!
1. We did not have our computer set up for a long time. We set it up and it didn't work, so we had to set up my old one from college. I am honestly lucky it hasn't frozen yet. This thing is a dinosaur!!! I guess at least it has a flat screen and I don't have an old tube screen in front of me...needless to say a new computer is on the list!
2. We have been busy with our house....things still are not done yet, which is SUPER annoying, but when you are chasing a toddler and working full time, there isn't much time left in the day! I am currently sitting in a room that is jam packed full of boxes and totes that still need to be gone through and unpacked. Did I mention the room also still needs to be painted!?!? BLAH!
3. Which I think is the best excuse, is that Camryn is going to be a BIG SISTER and this mama hasn't been feeling well! I am 15 weeks along and have had a rough start so far with lots of trips to the doctor and even a day in the hospital! Things seem to be looking up now and we have our big gender ultrasound September 6th! I promise I will TRY to get on here and be more active!
If I were really trying to win your hearts over I would post pictures of sweet Camryn, but unfortunately if I tried to download anything onto this computer it would probably explode! If you are on facebook, you can catch them there because I post plenty! Camryn is keeping us very busy lately and has a lot to say. She is also starting to show some signs that we may start working on potty training soon! My goal is to have her potty trained by the time her sibling arrives in late January! (Yes, Baby Lowry will be making an early arrival!) We chose to stay with Dr. C in Indianapolis for this baby too, so I will likely be induced towards the end of the pregnancy so that we know we will make it to the hospital. A lot of people have asked us if we were going to switch to someone local, but we both really love Dr. C. We also had a scare shortly after Camryn was born and the NICU team had to be called in to take care of her so, we are more comfortable having this baby down there just in case it were to need any extra help! Well, I think that is all from here and it is time for me to go to bed! :) Thanks for reading and sorry for the lack of posts! Hopefully I will get better....no promises though! :)

B-U-S-Y!!!
I feel like a complete blog slacker, but life has been SUPER hectic around here lately. We closed on our house May 10th, left for Texas May 15th, got home the 21st, and have been spending every waking minute that we aren't at work at our house. We have so many projects going on....painting cabinets, pulling down wallpaper....A LOT of wallpaper, painting walls, changing light fixtures, landscaping...you name it! :) We didn't think our project list was too long until we got started! :) Every goal date that I have set to move in by hasn't been met, so I have thrown those out the window. We will get there when we get there. Today we emptied out most of our storage unit and just have a couple of big items left to get out of there. This weekend was also extra exciting with 2...yes TWO trips to the E.R. Mark must have thought our life wasn't quite exciting enough. The poor guy cut open his arm on Saturday morning-5 stitches to fix that, then today he was having severe abdominal pain and I took him in and he has a kidney stone. Please send prayers his way....2 trips in 3 days...he isn't feeling the greatest! I will post pictures of our house soon...once our projects are complete and we are settled in. For now, I am just going to leave you with a picture of Camryn. She is the apple of our eye! :) Have a fabulous week!

Walking...
Camryn has been cruising for a long time, but tonight while we were at the hospital visiting my friend who had a baby she took off walking on her own. She started off walking along the wall in the hospital room and then BAM....she just took off. She walked at home tonight as well, so I guess we are going to have our hands full! She is absolutely hilarious right now and such a joy to be around. She is doing animal noises for a duck, cow, dog, horse, monkey and sheep. (I think that is all of them!) Her favorite show is Bubble Guppies. She squeals and dances when we turn it on for her! She is always full of smiles and loves playing with other kids. That is all for now. Just a quick post that she is off and walking on her own now! We close on our new home May 10th and are VERY excited. I cannot wait for Camryn to have a play room and a play area in the basement too! It is going to be awesome! Thanks for reading. Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend regardless of the weather!

I dare you....
to try and get a picture of Lenny & I like you want to!
Okay, I must admit, the Lenny & Camryn pictures have been pretty difficult to get the last few months, but today was impossible! She LOVES Lenny, but there is no way she will just lay down next to him and let her Mommy snap a quick pic. She swipes him up, rolls over with him and is gone! Camryn is VERY busy these days. I would say she is about a week away from walking. She is constantly on the go! Some new things she is doing are if you say, "READY, SET..." she will yell GO! She LOVES spelling her name with the letters on her bedroom wall and is really starting to imitate the letter sounds, she talks in our "Beans" voice. (We have a scratchy voice for our dog and now Camryn talks for him too!) :) She also is counting to 3 and "clears" her voice if she hears someone clear their voice! It is so awesome to see the new things she is learning everyday! Here are some pictures of her from today! Enjoy :)

and one of our sleepy dog...just because he looked so cute! :)
Thanks for reading & have a splendid week! :)
